Elena has over 20 years of privacy, regulatory, compliance and risk management experience, working for Fortune 100 companies in Retails, Legal, and Healthcare industries. Prior to joining BrightInsight, she led the Medtronic Privacy Risk Assessment team engineering compliant solutions for business partners globally. She also worked for Land O’Lakes, Deluxe Corporation, Walmart, Yale University and law firms like Dorsey & Whitney and LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae. She was born and raised in Kazakhstan and lived there before immigrating to the United States in 2000. Elena has three higher degrees. She is a linguist, economist, and a Russian lawyer.
