BIOGRAPHY

Naeem is a renowned thought leader and author with decades of experience in designing innovative large scale high performance digital solutions. At Boston Scientific, Naeem advises new product architectures and design strategies; serves as data privacy and health data connectivity expert; guides analytics and data management teams to architect Digital Health/EHR connectivity platform. Naeem was an active member of GDPR implementation at Boston Scientific. Naeem is a member of Active Surveillance Data Curation Working Group at The National Evaluation System for health Technology (NESTcc).

Prior to Boston Scientific, Naeem advised large health systems in defining digital health platforms; architected mobile PHR solutions for High Risk Pregnancy, Chronic Kidney Disease and Behavior health for population health companies.

Earlier, Naeem served as Vice President, Knowledge Management & Informatics at Fresenius, where he led integration of 1800+ Dialysis Clinics; Internets and Intranets; Clinical Data Warehouses; Big Data, Business Intelligence and Informatics research initiatives.

Prior to Fresenius, Naeem was Founder and Chief Research Officer for Information Frameworks. There he advised IT vendors and Fortune 500 companies on innovative IT solutions/product roadmaps.

Naeem specializes in Healthcare, Discrete Manufacturing, High Tech, CPG Retail/Beverage, Education and Public-sector industries. Naeem served as judge for Innovative CIO Leadership awards for CHIME, HIMSS, AHA and MIT. Naeem was a visiting faculty and founder member of Center of Knowledge Engineering at NUCES where he guided graduate students on Psyche Mining research projects. Naeem has authored/coauthored four books and published hundreds of thought-provoking articles. Naeem holds MSc in Experimental Nuclear Physics, MS in Radiological Health and Environmental Sciences specializing in nuclear analytical techniques and high performance computing.
