Biography

As Zipari’s Vice President of Sales, Bill leads the new client acquisition team. Bill’s team is responsible for lead generation, engagement and managing a pipeline of enterprise level opportunities with payers nationally. During Bill’s tenure, Zipari has achieved tremendous growth and adoption with payers of all sizes and market segments.

Prior to joining Zipari, Bill held senior positions in the Health Payer space for many years. He was Senior Vice President and Chief Sales Officer for Health Republic Insurance of New York. At the largest CO-OP Health Insurance Carrier in the nation, Bill led sales operations, broker relations, strategic sales planning and marketing. He designed, developed and implemented the sales methodology leading to the company’s unprecedented growth.

Prior to joining Health Republic Bill was Senior Vice President of Sales at Easy Choice Health Plan of New York where he was instrumental in the launch of the company’s Medicare Advantage products.

Bill also spent 8 years in multiple positions at Atlantis Health Plan, a Commercial HMO focused on the Individual and Small Group Market. He left Atlantis in 2012 as SVP of Commercial Sales.

Bill has a deep understanding of customer engagement and retention strategies in the health payer world and has intimate knowledge of the challenges and opportunities faced by the industry in the current healthcare landscape.
