Lisa Suennen has spent 30 years in healthcare as entrepreneur, advisor and venture capitalist.  Today she is Leader of Manatt Phelps & Phillips’ Digital and Technology Practice and Leader of Manatt Venture Fund.

Prior to Manatt, Lisa led the GE Ventures healthcare fund and prior to that was a partner with Psilos Group, a healthcare venture fund. Previously, she was on the leadership team that built Merit Behavioral Care from startup to an $800mm revenue behavioral healthcare company and through its successful IPO and exit.

Lisa serves on the Boards of Directors of Health Reveal, Inc. and HealthXL and is an advisor to several venture funds and emerging companies. Lisa is a Fellow of the Aspen Institute’s Health Innovators Fellowship and on faculty at the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business. Lisa also chairs the advisory board of the NASA -funded Translational Research Institute for Space Health.
