Katie is the Senior Manager of Informatics for HIMSS, a global, cause-based, not-for-profit organization focused on better health through information and technology. In this role she manages initiatives related to interoperability, standards, health information exchange, blockchain technology and digital health content areas, driving the creation of thought leadership, education, policy comments, and volunteer activities on these topics. Prior to this role, she worked on provider engagement and implementation activities with a regional HIE organization. She also has a background working at the state and federal levels in government and advocacy roles.
