Steven Lane is a practicing primary care physician and clinical informaticist at Sutter Health in Northern California where he serves as Clinical Informatics Director for Privacy, Information Security & Interoperability. Leveraging over 30 years experience as an EHR end user, Dr. Lane serves on the ONC’s HIT Advisory Committee, The Sequoia Project Board of Directors, the HIMSS Interoperability & HIE Committee, the Carequality Steering Committee, the Da Vinci Project Clinical Advisory Council, and the DirectTrust Clinicians Steering Workgroup. He is a Clinical Professor of Family & Community Medicine at UCSF and Instructor in Clinical Informatics at Stanford University.
